Choc Cashew Protein Balls

Makes 12

100g cashews
50g almonds
80g high quality protein powder
35g shredded coconut
2 tablespoons cocoa
4 medjool dates
Water to bind

Add nuts to a food processor and process until they form a nut meal. Add the rest of the dry ingredients. Slowly add water until the mixture is moist enough to form balls. Be sure to add the water very slowly as it is easy to add too much which will make the mixture sloppy. Roll into 12 balls.

As much as I’d love to say I created this recipe, my thanks go to Kylie, who had sleeve gastrectomy surgery in 2013. Kylie lost over 35kg to become a healthy weight and found she had a passion for creating and sharing healthy food!
